The Center is a newly renovated, 9000 square foot facility located in the heart of downtown Swift Current. This facility is home to:
- The Swift Current Community Youth Initiative
- Fresh Start
The Center was the dream of East Side Church of God. Their desire was to have a centrally located space to better serve the needs of youth, families and individuals in our community. In December, 2009, East Side Church of God purchased the facility. The renovation process began in January, 2010, and in November, 2010, The Center held its Grand Opening. The creation of this public facility was made possible through the incredible support of the Swift Current community who provided thousands of volunteer hours, significant donations, and financial contributions to create this beautiful, fully furnished building.
While The Center is home to the above mentioned organizations, it is also used as a venue for:
- Church Youth Groups
- Girls on the Move
- The Hub
- Activities for South West Home residents
- A variety of classes (Parenting, Anger Management, Maternal Mothering, etc)
